Although it has been an ongoing debate in the scientific community, the story of how Amie and I met has been well documented. While there may be inconsistencies in other versions, my recollection of our meetings has not wavered. Our first meeting was on July 21st, 1994 when sweet baby Amie fell from the heavens up above. I was fairly young at the time, but I vividly remember the moment she landed in my outstretched arms like a puzzle piece falling into place from the sky. While no words were spoken, there was an instant magnetic connection between us. In the moment, it was cloudy, but upon reflection, that was the start of a quantum entanglement that stretched across the cosmos. A quarter of a century later, I stumbled, quite randomly, into a 6am yoga class with no idea of what was about to unfold. I was half asleep going through the beginning of the class. As we reached the “Warrior II” pose, I suddenly heard a whisper in my ear from behind me, “Your right arm is too low. Come talk to me after class.” The voice was soft but firm at the same time. The tone was quite divine and it had a slightly raspy tint to it. Just as I thought, “Is this an Angel?” I felt a hand reach out to gently nudge my right forearm slightly higher. As her hand made contact with my skin, an overpowering rush of energy surged through me. My consciousness momentarily dissociated from my physical self. My mind flashed back in time to July 21st, 1994 when I caught the sweet baby Amie from the heavens. After the “hands-on assist” which lasted only a brief second or so, I felt the entire chemical composition of my body had changed. The prophecy had been fulfilled. My posture had been corrected, and Amie and I were destiny.

It's hard to compete with such a beautiful recollection of how we got here today (nonetheless one that starts at my birth!), so I won't even try. What I know is this: we met at yoga, and somehow we kept finding ourselves in yoga classes together between Texas and Colorado, at the right moments.
