We got married!!! 11/22/2020

On 8/17/13, in a city of 8.5 million people, two of them found each other. Amberly was visiting her sister in New York and had never heard of Nick, who was visiting their mutual friend, Freddy. Amberly and Freddy’s mutual friend Jenn suggested meeting up at a bar after Shakespeare in the Park. Amberly ordered a pineapple juice, which Nick thought was fascinating. Nick told her he was a gardener, which she found fascinating. She invited him to a hangout the next evening. He came (which she didn’t expect) and they didn't really talk…until everyone else left. They walked around and went to Cafe Lalo, which is where Nick insists the magic started but Amberly says it wasn’t until later. Either way, they got to know each other a little better, then Amberly went to North Dakota and Nick went to Virginia. That was that. They started texting on and off until one day Amberly took it to the next level. So, she called. They started calling more and more and after two weeks were on the phone so much they were losing sleep and talking multiple hours a day. They decided to become official in October before they saw each other again! When they met in person for the second time, it was in Pennsylvania in the middle of November and they were a couple. It worked! Nick and Amberly loved spending time together, traveling and outdoor adventuring. By this time, both of them felt the magic was special!
