There are a few great options for getting around: Driving: If you rent a car from the airport, you're welcome to drive throughout Ocean Reef. Just note that the speed limit is strictly 25 MPH at most points. Golf Carts: If you took an Uber from the airport and you're staying on property, we highly recommend renting a golf cart for the full Ocean Reef experience! It's fun, easy, and a great way to get around. Late-night ride? If you’ve "over-indulged" and need a safe way back to your room, you can call Ocean Reef’s main number (listed on the Travel page) and ask to be connected to the Bell Stand. They offer a free taxi serviceand will happily bring you back to your hotel room safely. Staying Off Property: If you're staying outside of Ocean Reef, transportation will be up to you. Uber, Lyft, or a rental car are all good options.
Credit/debit cards and cash are not accepted at Ocean Reef shops or restaurants. Instead, you’ll need a white "guest" charge card, which you can get at the hotel front desk upon arrival. If you're staying at the hotel, the charges will be added to your room bill. If you're staying off-property, you can pick up a charge card from the hotel front lobby and your charges must be settled by Sunday.
