We are finally tying the knot!

Alicia and Nick’s romance began with a simple first swipe. Like many other relationships, they had adventurous expectations for a first date. Fate, however, had a different plan. Alicia was starting to clean the snow off her car on a blustery January morning when the man of her dreams sent her a message. Of course, she’s thinking it’s something sweet, but no, it’s a cancelation because he got a “flat tire”. Despite her apprehension, Alicia said yes to trying again. The two met at Wissahickon Brewing Company where they chatted the night away and found out there was more than just a connection on Bumble! After that night at Wissahickon Brewing, they went on many journeys together from exploring the mountains to camping in the rain to living through quarantine. With every journey they grew closer and closer until Dallas finally gave her approval and let Alicia move in with her and Nick. Their excitement grew as they knew this was their next step to the joyous day that we are celebrating on 10/20! After a short while, Nick knew she was the one and that he had to marry this girl. He had planned the proposal for an upcoming camping trip, but everything changed when he saw the ring. He couldn’t wait any longer! While Alicia was out at brunch with friends, Nick left to "run an errand" aka pick up the ring. That morning, Alicia asked Nick to bring home donuts from Yum-Yums and he seized the opportunity to switch up the plan. He stopped at his brother’s store to grab some earrings and then went to Yum-Yums to get the Big Kahuna! He put the light blue earrings box in the middle of the big donut thinking it would grab all her attention so that he could get down on one knee, but no, she was in awe over the giant donut! Another moment where the two fell for each other even more than they thought they could! To the Bumble gods, we thank you for matching them even though they were outside each other’s search radius!
