Answer

Hiking is an option within the limits you are comfortable exploring the ranch grounds. Be mindful of wildlife (watch step in case of snakes-rarely seen). Consider insect deterrent for your legs. Do not get within reach of the neighbor's ostriches. There is also a decorate a 2D pumpkin/bat activity for bored children and antisocial adults. To reduce mess, it is collage style with a range of stickers, mounting tape and construction paper.
