Blue Ridge Scenic Drive
My personal pick for something to do in the area if you're making a trip of wedding weekend would be to take a drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway. (My parents did this for their honeymoon, ps :) The Blue Ridge Pkway starts in Afton, VA which is about 30 min from the farm. It extends to Cherokee, North Carolina. Especially as the leaves begin to fall--this is one of the most stunning views in the US.
Colonial Williamsburg
About an hour and a half drive from Charlottesville lies one of my favorite historic towns, rich in charm and stories of the past. It's the perfect place to spend an entire day immersed in history.

Michie Tavern, located near Charlottesville, Virginia, is a historic 18th-century inn established in 1784 by Scotsman William Michie.
