Wedding Attire: Formal In the spirit of the elegant traditions of the Detroit Yacht Club, we invite our guests to dress in Formal Attire. We encourage attire that reflects the occasion while remaining comfortable and stylish. Whether you choose to wear a tuxedo, a suit, a floor-length gown, or a chic cocktail dress, we can't wait to celebrate with you! For Men: • At a minimum: suit or sport coat/blazer, dress shirt, and dress pants • Tie optional but encouraged • Dress shoes required For Women: • Knee-length, midi, or floor-length dresses are all welcome • Dressy jumpsuits or elegant separates are also appropriate • Heels, dressy flats, or formal sandals are encouraged
The bridesmaids will be wearing black satin. Groomsmen will be in tuxedos.
We are arranging a shuttle service between the blocked hotels (Double Tree Suites Fort Shelby and The Atheneum) and the ceremony/reception.
