While our Selong venue is beautiful, transportation can be a bit tricky. Ride-hailing services like Grab and Gojek* have limited availability. We strongly recommend renting a car. *Grab or Gojek are available mostly in areas like Lombok Airport, Mataram, and Senggigi.

Most of the lodging in the area have an inhouse restaurants (though it is subjected to its specific kitchen hours). Otherwise, google maps provide great suggestions on nearby restaurants or warungs (local restaurants). There are a couple of good restaurants closer to selong belanak beach or Grabfood may have options as well for selected lodgings.

Nearby beaches to Snorkel, Swim or Relax Selong Belanak Beach: A popular beach for surfers, but also great for swimming and relaxing. It's about a 10-15 minute drive from Selong Selo Resort. Mawun Beach: A quiet and secluded beach with crystal-clear waters, perfect for snorkeling and swimming. It's about a 20-25 minute drive from Selong Selo Resort. Tanjung Aan Beach: A beautiful beach with white sand and clear waters, great for swimming and relaxing. It's about a 25-30 minute drive from Selong Selo Resort. Explore Kuta Town Explore one of the most popular towns in southern Lombok - Kuta, about 30 minutes drive from Selong for cute cafes and restaurants. Some top recommendations: Jelajah Coffee Kuta, Milk Espresso, Bush Radio. Hiking Mount Rinjani: A 3,726m active volcano that offers a challenging multi-day trek with breathtaking views. It's recommended to hire a guide for this trek, especially if you're inexperienced. Pergasingan Hill: A 1-hour trail with stunning views, suitable for most hikers. It's best done for sunrise or sunset. Senaru Waterfalls: A series of waterfalls in the north of Lombok, accessible via a short walk from most accommodations in Senaru. Benang Stokel and Kelambu Waterfalls: Two of the most breathtaking waterfalls in Lombok, located in the north of the island. Island Hopping Gili Island: Gili Trawangan is known for its vibrant nightlife, while Gili Meno is more laid-back and Gili Air offers a mix of both. We'll be heading to Gili Trawangan after the wedding, likely on Sunday, July 13th, or Monday, July 14th. If you're interested in joining us, please try not to book your return flights for those dates to allow for travel time.
