Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Julie Farkas and Nick Deraney
Although this beach will be hard to turn down, we are excited to share a few recommendations to make the most of your time in San Pedro!
Explore the Belize Barrier Reef - The 2nd largest in the world

Explore the Belize Barrier Reef - The 2nd largest in the world

Mexico Rocks, Belize

We had an awesome time snorkeling the reef with Scuba Daze Belize! We picked the Mexico Rocks tour after hearing from locals that its a bit quieter but just as good as Shark Alley and Hol Chan. They were right! We got to swim with some amazing fish, nurse sharks, and sting rays. A boat will come pick you up from the Las Terrazas dock, so no need worry about transportation.

Take a trip to Secret Beach

Take a trip to Secret Beach

San Pedro, Belize

Consider taking a trip to Secret Beach! Its about a 40-minute golf card ride from Las Terrazas. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to take this trip, but hear great things! There are a bunch of beach bars where you can grab a drink and some food while enjoying the views. Perfect for a chill afternoon.

Aerial Tour or Scuba the Great Blue Hole

Aerial Tour or Scuba the Great Blue Hole

San Pedro, Belize

The Great Blue Hole is a massive underwater sinkhole, about 120 meters deep! If you're a diver, this is definitely worth exploring. If diving isn't your thing, you can also take an aerial tour to check it out from above! For divers, its about a 2-3 hour boat ride each way, making it a full day adventure. For flyers, most tours depart from the San Pedro Airport, and are about an hour and half flight.

Explore Downtown San Pedro

Explore Downtown San Pedro

San Pedro

Take a golf cart and explore downtown Belize, but don't forget to take a photo of your golf cart, turns out they all look the same! There are a ton of cute shops to explore, or try the local food scene. Below are a few restaurants to get you started.

Truck Stop

Truck Stop

This place is really fun! It has a number of food trucks, beer garden, backyard games, and even a salt water pool. The food is good, but definitely come for the atmosphere.

Elvi's Kitchen

Elvi's Kitchen

Pescador Drive, San Pedro, Corozal District, Belize

Elvi’s Kitchen is a San Pedro classic and a great place to dive into some authentic Belizean food. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, and the menu is full of local favorites like stewed chicken and fresh seafood.

el fogon

el fogon

This is a no-frills spot that came recommended from a few locals. It's focused on traditional Belizean cooking, with dishes like rice and beans, stewed meats, and fresh seafood cooked over an open fire.

Caliente

Caliente

Caliente is a great spot for enjoying Mexican and Belizean dishes by the sea. The menu has everything from tacos to ceviche, all served with a relaxed, beachfront vibe. It’s a nice place to sit back, have a bite, and take in the ocean views.

Just Chill

Just Chill

Enjoy a drink by the pool, take out a kayak, or play some beach volleyball at the hotel!

For all the days along the way
