Check out another side of Annapolis, where the locals live. We recommend that you check out the Annapolis Maritime Museum (open 10 AM -3 PM daily, $7 tickets) then grab a drink at the local pub, Davis Pub. Davis Pub is Annapolis' original Irish Pub (with a Chesapeake Bay twist).

We highly recommend the walking tour, which is $14. Tours happen every 30 minute from 9:30AM to 3 PM. You can get on the yard with any ID or Drivers License and just wander if you want. There is also a museum on site at Prebble Hall (118 Maryland Ave, Annapolis, MD 21402) open 9 AM - 5 PM Mon - Sat and 10 AM - 4 PM on Sunday.

A gazebo is located along the sandy shoreline afford a spectacular view of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

If you want to enjoy the best public beach on the Chesapeake Bay, look no further than Sandy Point State Park (entry fee of $5 per person). Located in the shadow of the Bay Bridge in Annapolis, soak up some sun, and enjoy some of our beautiful Chesapeake Bay brackish water. Jelly fish season doesn't truly start until July, so the weekend of the wedding is the best time to go!
