One Friday night, I had a friend ask me if I wanted to go hang out at a local bar, Dillons. She prefaced that it was an "old people bar," but that a bunch of people she knew from high school would be there so it could be fun. I figured, why not, we can make any situation a good time! When we got there, she introduced me to her friend Nick Gossett. He was already a little tipsy, but I thought he was charming and cute. Everyone there was calling him by his last name, and I actually thought they were calling him "Gossip." I met several people that night, but I always found myself gravitating to Nick. Although I thought he was cute, I actually thought he was kind of a smart ass. I went home that night and didn't think about him again...until the next night. I met up with the same friends Saturday night to watch the UFC fight at Twisted Tavern. To my surprise, Nick was there too. After the fight, the whole group caravanned over to Wild Wing to continue the fun. Nick mentioned that he needed a ride home, as he didn't have his car with him, so I offered to drive him home. Needless to say, he got an earful of Susan ramblings! Apparently it didn't scare him off, because he asked for my number and even kissed me on my cheek before getting out of the car. Two nights later, on June 13th, he asked me to hang out at Dillons and that is where our story truly began ❤
