Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire for the reception is Black Tie Optional. This means suits or tuxes, formal gowns, classy cocktail dresses or dressy separates. While Black Tie is purely optional, this is your excuse to bust out that fancy dress or tux that you never get to wear!

When should I book my accommodations?

Answer

We recommend booking your accommodations sooner rather than later. Our hotel block cut off date is a month prior to the wedding. You can find the links to our hotel blocks and other travel details on the "Travel" page.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to and from the ceremony, but there are plenty of Uber/Lyfts available. The church is an easy 5 minute drive from both of our hotels.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

Yes, after the ceremony we will be providing shuttles from the hotels to our reception venue and back again at the end of the night. Please see our travel page for more details.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is a small parking lot outside of Christ King Church and ample street parking available for the ceremony. There will be a limited amount of reserved parking spaces available in the parking garage at Jan Serr Studio for the reception on a first come, first served basis. Please reach out to Shannon at 262-951-0912 for the parking code. Otherwise, there is ample free street parking around Jan Serr. Uber and utilizing the Hotel Shuttles are also great options for traveling to and from the reception!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love to share our special day with as many people as possible, but due to venue restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. Thank you for your understanding!

Although we love your little ones, please note our wedding reception will be an adult-only affair.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Your guess is as good as ours! The weather tends to be on the cooler side in November, so please check the weather before you come and pack a jacket!
