Where is the best place to stay?

Answer

We would LOVE for you to celebrate with us and stay at Mcmenamins Edgefield. Come explore the various tap rooms, wine cellars, 3 par golf courses, and serene spa. Did we mention it’s dog friendly?

Why would I NOT want to stay at Mcmenamins?

Answer

Mcmenamin’s is a PNW chain of hotels filled with transformed rooms from old school buildings. At Edgefield most rooms DO NOT have a private bath with the rooms. They will have shared common area bath and washrooms that lock for privacy.

What should we know about our wedding location and flying in?

Answer

Our wedding venue is located about ~15 minutes from PDX. Whether you plan to rent a car for the weekend or take an Uber, we’re a convenient short drive from the airport. Did we mention we’re only 20 minutes from downtown Portland?

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Answer

No. We ask that you kindly not bring any kids to our wedding. We understand that some people have beloved family members, but we ask that our celebration remain a 21+ event.

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress code: semi-formal to cocktail attire, but you can dress formal if you wish. Do’s: dresses, skirts, slacks, collared/button up dress shirts (short-sleeve ok), ties encouraged, heals, sandals, dress shoes Don’ts: the color white, jeans, tennis shoes, flannels This is our wedding let’s get fancy and dazzle the room

Is your wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

It’s both! We will be conducting our ceremony in blackberry meadow, outside (pending weather). And the reception will be indoors at Blackberry Hall.
