FAQs

Question

When should I book my travel?

Answer

We encourage guests to book as soon as they know their travel plans, as summer pricing will only become more expensive. The hotel recommendations we provided are all located in Williamsburg, where our welcome party and reception will take place. However, guests can look into staying in Manhattan or other parts of Brooklyn if desired.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into LaGuardia (LGA) or JFK as they are the closest to Williamsburg via Uber or cab. LGA (~25 mins) is the closest option, while JFK (~45 mins) will likely have more flight options. Newark (EWR) can also be considered, but is the furthest from Williamsburg (~60 mins).

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Late August in New York will be warm and humid, with daytime temperatures often in the 80s. Cocktail hour will take place in an open-air atrium, followed by dinner and dancing indoors with air-conditioning.

Question

Will there be a ceremony prior to cocktail hour?

Answer

The ceremony will be an intimate celebration for immediate family only. We look forward to celebrating with everyone at the reception.

Question

What is the reception dress code?

Answer

We invite guests to dress in black tie optional attire. Tuxedos and formal evening gowns are welcome, though a dark suit with a tie or a cocktail-length dress are equally appropriate. Given the late-August weather, lighter fabrics are encouraged. Attire that fits well: tuxedos, dark suits, cocktail dresses, formal jumpsuits, or gowns
Attire to avoid: casual sundresses, or overly informal footwear

Question

I have dietary restrictions or allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

When RSVPing, please indicate any dietary restrictions. You can also reach out to the Breanne or Nick directly to further explain.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.
