You're in the land of 10,000 lakes, and checking out at least one of them is a Minnesota must. Pick up an electric scooter and weave your way through miles of bike trails along the water.
One of our favorite spots for a picnic and the best view of Minneapolis (or so we think). Boom Island Park is located on the historic Mississippi riverfront, and has many walking paths for you to enjoy.
Art fans, unite! Minneapolis has many museums to explore--we're even getting married at one. Meander through the Minneapolis Institute of Art, where you can find original works from Van Gogh, Monet & more, as well as incredible local art. If the weather's nice, take a stroll through the Walker Sculpture Garden, where you'll find quirky installations and awesome skyline views.
Like to eat? Us too. The Twin Cities is the perfect place to indulge your inner foodie. A few of Nick & Noelle's go-to's include: Lago Tacos (our favorite go-to taco joint & where we got dinner on our first date), Zen Box Izakaya (Japanese comfort food, need we say more?!), Psycho Suzi's (Serving river-side views, 'Sota style pizza and tiki drinks) and Bar La Grassa (upscale family-style Italian, a must visit of Msp!).
Have a chance to pop over to the twin city of Minneapolis? Make sure to check out some of our favorites from our old neighborhood. The best spots: Nina's (coffee shop), a stroll down Summit to Overlook Park, and Sweeney's Saloon (a neighborhood bar with a great patio).
