Washington D.C.: Museums & Monuments
Hop on the Metro to D.C. and take advantage of the numerous free Smithsonian museums, monuments and parks! Nick and Alicia enjoy taking trips into the city throughout the year and trying out new restaurants.
Rockville Town Square
Rockville Town Square has a number of restaurants, shops, movie theaters and is walking distance from the Cambria Hotel (where we’ve reserved a hotel block). It is also in close proximity to many Asian restaurants and grocery stores!
Great Falls Park, Virginia
The Maryland/Virginia/DC area has a number of scenic hiking trails including Great Falls. Nick and Alicia enjoy taking hikes, especially in the fall!
Downtown Crown
Downtown Crown has various restaurants and shops if you’re looking for a place to enjoy a meal!
RIO Washingtonian Center
The Rio Washingtonian plaza is close to where Nick and Alicia live and has many stores, restaurants and a movie theater. There’s also a lakeside path that’s nice to walk around as well as a playground, carousel and a children’s train that goes around the boardwalk area.
