We are getting married!

When you know, you know. You know? And for Michael and Morgan, it didn't take long for both of them to know they wanted to do life together, forever. It all started on April 24th, 2019, when their paths crossed on the statehouse grounds. Morgan was there for a Miss South Carolina event and Michael was there interning for the year before heading off to law school. It was a quick "hello" and introduction by a mutual friend that changed everything. Morgan claims she made the first move by following Michael on Instagram later that evening, but it was Michael who claims Morgan "ghosted" him for a few months while he was trying to pursue her (hey, she had to play a little hard to get...ha!). Months past without them talking and the two reconnected a few months later on a coffee date... and the rest was history. In the months that followed, the two realized they were much better together. Very similar yet different, their passion for life, laughter and Halls Chophouse quickly propelled them into a relationship that would last a lifetime. On July 10th, 2021 Michael took Morgan back to where they first met at the South Carolina State House and popped the big question. He then took Morgan to her grandpa's den where she was surprised with friends and family. It was a magical day! A note from Morgan and Michael: "We are completely overjoyed by the goodness of God in bringing us together and excited for what He will do in our marriage. We are so excited to begin a life together and can't wait to celebrate with you all on December 10th!" Colossians 3:14 ~ And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
