Our story begins in January of 2022 where Isaac and Rachel first met in their public speaking course in college at Colorado Christian University. Rachel sat in front of Isaac for that whole semester and Connor, Isaac's best man, would always make comments to Isaac about asking out the "butterfly tattoo girl". Come January of 2023, Isaac and Rachel would be in yet another class together. This time, it was an international missional rock climbing class. They ended up spending a week and a half together climbing magnificent rock faces in El Potrero Chico, Mexico. In fact, Isaac took Rachel on her first multi-pitch climb out there (this is important for later ;))! After returning from Mexico, Isaac and Rachel spent some time together getting dinners at Chipotle and thrifting at their favorite local outdoor store, Feral. And if you know Rachel, she can be quite picky and stubborn (tee-hee) so it would take her another year and a half to see the depths of Isaac's love for her. In February of 2024, Dani, one of Rachel's bridesmaids, invited her on a rock climbing trip to Nevada with Isaac and his newly built-out van! (Rachel has always dreamed of living in a van so this was very captivating information to hear.) On this trip, Rachel and Isaac would reconnect through their mutual love of adventure and the outdoors. (Thank you Dani!) Their first date, Isaac took Rachel on a multi-pitch climb in Clear Creek Canyon in Colorado (are you seeing the theme here? Haha!). They knew very quickly that the other had just as much fervor and passion for adventure and loved that they could experience that with each other. Ever since, Isaac and Rachel have gone on countless adventures together! Together, Isaac and Rachel have travelled to, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and counting! Together, they are thrilled for this lifetime of adventure ahead of them in marriage!! All Praise to God!!
