We met first at Sydenham High School where we both attended. Although we didn’t connect then, we did later in life and knew immediately we wanted to be life partners. Eight years later, we have set a date to make it official and become husband and wife! We would be overjoyed if you could celebrate our marriage with us!

As the story says, eight years later the proposal happened. A few days after Christmas, Dan offered to drop me off at the nail salon and he would go driving around until I was done. This was out of the ordinary for Dan but of course I accepted his offer and went on to have my nails done. When we got home, I noticed Dan had yet to take his winter coat off (if you know Dan, you know he’s a man who gets hot quickly) which was unusual.. So I pressed.. “ why are you being so weird? Why won’t you take your coat off? Why are you being sneaky?” Well Dan took about 30 seconds of my nagging and pulled a small box out of his coat pocket. He said he was trying to hide it but I wouldn’t stop following him. So I opened the box, still not sure what was inside (although I had my suspicions) and saw the most stunning and elegant ring. Dan looked down at me and told me he loved me and wanted to spend every day with me for the rest of our lives, even though I’m impatient.. I of course said yes.. and the rest is history.
