Jeremy and Meg first met in 2007 as freshmen in high school, when their middle school friend groups naturally started to spend time together. That connection quickly turned into a relationship, and they dated for a few years before life took them in different directions for college—Jeremy headed to Georgia Tech to study engineering, while Meg went to the University of Georgia to pursue a degree in healthcare. Though they went their separate ways, Jeremy and Meg remained close friends over the years, keeping in touch through regular catch-ups and visits between Atlanta, Athens, and Augusta. Eventually, Meg moved back to the Atlanta area, and being in the same city gave them the chance to fully reconnect. In the fall of 2024, while hiking the breathtaking Tour du Mont Blanc through the Italian Alps, Jeremy proposed. Surrounded by mountains, a few of their friends, and the beauty of the trail, Meg said yes—marking a moment as meaningful as their journey together. Now, they're preparing to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by the people they love most. They can’t wait to share in their weekend as they begin this new chapter together.
