We ask that you put away your phones and cameras during the ceremony and simply enjoy the moment. Cameras are allowed during the welcome party, cocktail hour, and reception.
March in Atlanta is typically pretty mild. Recently, the first weekend in March has seen temperatures ranging from 55-75 degrees during the day, with night time temperatures being cooler. Be sure to check the weather closer to the wedding to prepare. It's unlikely, but we may get a fluke snow day or an early heat wave of 90 degree weather. You never know in Atlanta!
This is entirely up to you. Atlanta is a sprawling city that is very car dependent. That said, Uber, Lyft, and taxis can be used to navigate the city and may be cheaper than a rental car. Plus, you won't have to worry about parking, which can be a hassle at tourist destinations. If you do decide to rent a car, the major brands are available at the airport. There is also an Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Emory Conference Center Hotel.
The wedding's dress code is semi-formal attire, similar to dressy-casual. Men should wear suits and ties, women should wear cocktail dresses or slacks and a nice top. No tuxedos or ballgowns needed! For the welcome party, wear what you feel comfortable bowling and mingling in.
No, neither Rachael nor Matt will be changing their last names upon marriage. They will continue to be Rachael Nichol and Matthew Friedlander.
