Coli and Santos first met when Nichole's roommate, Chloe Lupton, hosted a game night for her church. They chatted and hit it off, but never thought that they would see each other ever again because they did not go to the same church and it was just a chance meeting through mutual friends. Later on, another mutual friend, Ale Raigoza, invited Santos to a latin dance social. He also invited a certain Taylor Swift Super Fan to dance as well. After reconnecting at the social, they continued to spend time together at latin dance socials and two-stepping at Cowboys OKC. Cowboys was where Santos would ask Coli out for their first date to watch the beloved children's movie, The Land Before Time. They learned to two-step together, grew skilled in line dances, and over time enjoyed getting to know each other and their individual areas of interest. It became clear to both Coli and Santos that they were both pretty big nerds, and they enjoyed sharing all of their passions and areas of expertise with each other. After a few months of dating, Nichole had the opportunity to work at Yellowstone National Park, which turned them into a long-distance couple. Much of the foundation of their relationship was forged over distance, helping to strengthen them and deepen their commitment to one another. In March 2025, Santos asked Coli to marry him and she could not have been more excited to say "YES!" They are so excited to celebrate their wedding on November 14th with all of you!
