Check out our “Schedule” section on Zola to help plan your stay and our “Things to Do” tab for popular activities ✈️ Arrival in Medellín For international guests, flights should be booked into José María Córdova International Airport (MDE), the main airport serving Medellín. The airport is located approximately 45–60 minutes from the city (El Poblado), depending on traffic. We recommend booking flights 4–6 months in advance, as prices may increase closer to the travel date. 🚗 Getting around Within our “Things to Do” section, you’ll also find helpful links for airport transportation options to and from Medellín. For getting around the city, we recommend Uber as a safe, convenient, and reliable transportation option throughout your visit. 📌 Important Travel Information -Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates -Dual citizens (for example U.S.–Colombian citizens) should travel with both passports -Some services in Colombia may qualify for a 19% VAT (IVA) exemption for international tourists, including select hotel stays and certain registered tours or travel packages. To potentially qualify, guests must present their passport at check-in or booking and be registered as a foreign visitor
