SHE SAID YES!

Chris had originally planned a “girls day” for Nichole with her friend Stefani. However, things did not go as planned and it turned into a date day for Chris and Nichole. Chris took Nichole out to lunch at Texas Roadhouse and then gave Nichole a note. This note explained that Chris had planned out a scavenger hunt, essentially “going back in time” through memories starting with Nichole’s past from before Chris and ending with memories of their lives together up to that point. Each clue lead to a place with a memory and had the clue for the next place, which Nichole had to guess correctly before they could leave. Nichole and Chris ended their day with a motorcycle ride out to Lincoln Memorial Gardens. Here, Nichole and Chris took a walk through the gardens, ending up at the top of a hill looking over the lake along with a beautiful sunset view. After looking out over the sunset Nichole almost ruined the proposal by trying to leave saying “Well, we should probably get going. We need to get Elena from your parents and we still have to take the bikes home” this is when Chris quickly asked Nichole to wait. Chris pulled out his phone with his proposal, held Nichole’s hand, and proposed while quoting Nichole’s favorite quotes from Back to the Future and The Corpse Bride. When Chris finished the proposal, he pulled out a beautiful black box with Jack and Sally on top and the Nightmare Before Christmas quote on the inside. There was a beautiful rose gold ring with black diamonds around the band and a diamond on top. HOW COULD SHE SAY NO?! 🖤
