We met at a college workshop. Our paths crossed a handful of times a year for a few years. One day Brock asked Nichole if she wanted to "grab dinner sometime", She thought about it and said, "let's do brunch"! 
She assumed they were just hanging out as friends and they did for six months or so and the rest is history.
