Our story begins on August 20, 2018 on a hot Texas day at Baylor University. Unaccustomed to the Texas heat and looking for reprieve, Nichole arrived unusually early that day and sat at the nearest open seat in Examined Life to the teacher. Aldrian, on the other hand, was late. He rushed in an sat down across from Nichole, taking note of her. They didn't talk to each other until sophomore year, when a mutual friend formally introduced them to each other. Starting off just as friends, after many study dates and late night Fuego runs, Aldrian confessed his feelings to Nichole. Unfortunately, Nichole said no and wanted to stay friends, even if she had the same feelings. They reconnected again in junior year and started dating November 23, 2020. After 4 years of traveling, adventures, and moving across the country, Aldrian decided to propose on August 29, 2025 at Windandsea Beach in Nichole's hometown of San Diego. They are now excitedly planning their wedding and are looking forward to celebrating with their family and friends!
