They were mistaken as twins on a regular basis.. played the same sports... attended the same college... and now, they are both settling down in Minnesota. Mariah loves to cook and Shelby loves to eat the food that she cooks. When in the kitchen together, you can hear Shelby saying "Let me just taste it to make sure it isn't poisoned"

Joined by fraternal brotherhood at Iowa State, David and Nick spent many hours playing hockey together in Des Moines and getting into trouble around Ames. They managed to bridge the rivalry between Chicago and Minnesota and have enjoyed watching Wild and Blackhawk games together. David overcame the challenge of teaching Nick how to refine his golf game. They continue to take trips back and forth to see each other and raise a glass after a round of 18.

Miss Sarah is Nicks hilarious, compassionate, and wonderful sister. Shelby and Sarah have spent countless hours cracking jokes, laughing hysterically, and drinking Moscow mules. Shelby feels extremely lucky to have a future sister-in-law who doubles as a close friend. In only a few short months, Sarah will, for the first time, be able to say that she has a sister.

As roommates in the fraternity house in college, Chantz has been a steady presence in Nick's life. A counsel, friend, confidant, and someone who will pick up the phone at any hour. Chantz is the definition of the guy that will be there no matter what. They have lived together in Minnesota for two years, where Chantz continues to flex his cooking prowess alongside Nick's unrivaled determination to only eat food cooked in the microwave.

Taylor and Shelby met in 2016 at Sunnyside Country Club where Taylor was her boss. They spent countless hours laughing, swimming, and unintentionally inhaling pool chemicals. Although they live hours apart, Taylor and Shelby are kindred spirits. Shelby even calls Taylor and her husband, Bennet, her Iowa "Mom and Dad".

Although Delta Sigma Phi brought them together at Iowa State, they bonded through their love of the outdoors. As hunters and fellow Labrador Retriever owners, they continue to fuel this passion through pheasant hunting trips in South Dakota and days at the shooting range.

Sarah is a fourth roommate to Shelby, Nick and Chantz. Sarah is always ready for an adventure and is rarely seen without a big has a smile on her face... and that's what they love about her! Her positivity radiates and infects those around her - she uses this superpower to lift others up with her company The Kind Way.

As brothers in Delta Sigma Phi, John and Nick became close through their mutual love of sports. Many hours of conversation have been spent on theories, rumors, and pathways to championships for the Cyclones, amongst other professional teams. They enjoy spending time playing video games together and John has always been Nick's biggest hype man.

Shelby and Maddy met on Shelby's first trip to Ames... Maddy welcomed her into the group with open arms, has helped Shelby navigate the ups and downs of dating a Delta Sig, and showed her how to be a great dog mom, too! Maddy is the first wife of the group and has been married to Jack, one of Nick's groomsman, since October 2019. They threw one heck of a party.. Nick and Shelby are hoping that they can top it!

Collin and Nick became close at Iowa State through the fraternity and hockey. They have a mutual love of all things sports and have an ongoing bet on whether the Red Wings or Wild will win a Stanley Cup first. Collin and Nick stay close through long nights playing video games and attending collegiate hockey games.

Although Kane won't physically be at the wedding... he is a HUGE part of Nick and Shelby's life - blessing them with endless amounts of love and snuggles.

Josh and Nick met through their time in the Army. They were team leaders together in the same squad and grew to become like family through shared experience. They have found a common bond through their mutual hardship of being Minnesota Wild fans and like to joke, "there's always next year." Josh and Nick enjoy swapping hunting stories and going fishing together, always planning their next adventure in the woods.
