Here is a list Nick and I have compiled together of our go-to recs for food, coffee, and all the above! HEADS UP -> there is an Army/Navy game this weekend so try to make dinner reservations prior to coming into town!
Enjoy a classic Baltimore Christmas in the Inner Harbor with this German village. Grab a mug of mulled wine and explore all the market shops!
They have a fun Christmas market and ice skating!
One block just up in the Hampden area, but full of Christmas cheer! The houses are decked out in Christmas lights. Go enjoy dinner on 36th street prior in Hampden- Ekiben, The Food Market, Avenue, Mona's Super Noodle, Dylan's Oyster Celler. And then celebrate the holiday season with ice cream at The Charmery.
Thames Street is a classic Baltimore spot for locals! There is a farmers market of Saturday and the area is filled with shops and restaurants. Shelbi's ideal day is going to get coffee & the rustico sandwhich at Pitango and walk the cobblestones over to Charm City Run for some new lulu or running shoes. You can't go wrong grabbing food at Thames Street Oyster House or Coopers Tavern.
Nothing like feeling a little "boujee"! Harbor East is where Shelbi likes to go when she is feeling like #amillionbucks. You have her classic stops, Madewell and Lulu. But there is Kneads and Ceremony for some yummy and overpriced coffees. If you want to really go all out you can grab a fancy dinner at The ByGone or Ruxtan. Rumor has it that there is a speak easy at the Ruxtan.
Canton Square is a small little grassy area surrounded by yummy food places! Coffee/pastries at Cafe Dear Leon or some crab cakes at Mama's on the Half Shelf- you can't go wrong! If you want to be fun and adventures, head over to karaoke at Cowboy's or down the street at Walt's Inn.
A classic Baltimore location! Shelbi lived a block from this place for the past 4 years so she has ran countless miles, went on many walks, and sat in the grass with friends for hours at this park. There is basketball, playgrounds, and a yummy taco place (Taqueria el Sabor del Parque)!
Where it all began!! Join us for church on Sunday (8:30am, 10:00am, 11:30am service start times).
