We're getting married!

Sarah Coudding and Nick Peeleman are delighted to announce their engagement after celebrating ten remarkable years together. Their love story began in high school, where a shared psychology project set the foundation for a journey defined by resilience, shared accomplishments, and unwavering support. Their relationship bloomed through the formative years of college, with Sarah attending University of San Francisco and Nick at the University of San Francisco. They were able to be in the same town together, but required an hour-long bus ride from the other side of town. Despite the challenges of long-distance, the couple’s bond only deepened as they navigated the pressures of academic life, personal growth, and maintaining their connection. Sarah’s impressive achievements stand out as a testament to her drive and determination. From serving as president of her sorority to becoming the youngest sales representative in her division, Sarah has consistently demonstrated an ability to take on challenges and exceed expectations. Sarah now starts a new journey at a company Codexis where she spends time in the Bay Area where their relationship blossomed. “Her fearless approach to rebuilding her territory and her commitment to excellence inspire everyone around her,” Nick shares. Together, they have overcome numerous obstacles, from the complexities of long-distance love to building a life together after college. A pivotal moment in their journey was moving in together, a milestone that represented years of perseverance, patience, and growth. “It was a long time coming,” Nick reflects. “After six years of learning how to support each other through college and two years apart, we were more than ready to take that step.” The couple shares a love for simple joys, like visiting the zoo, relaxing at home on Sundays, and running their dog Bentley.
