The closest major airport is Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), about 1.5 hours from Stone Harbor, NJ. From the airport, guests can rent a car, book a shuttle, or use rideshare services. Trust us, the beach (and the celebration!) is worth the trip.

Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) is a great option—just about an hour's drive from Stone Harbor, NJ. It’s a smaller airport, so flights may be limited, but it’s a convenient choice if available.
Hotel
We’ve reserved a room block at The Reeds at Shelter Haven—the site of our wedding celebration! This luxury boutique hotel is right in the heart of Stone Harbor, within walking distance to almost everything you need. There are a select amount of rooms blocked so book early if this is an option you are interested in. Call the reservations department (609.368.0100) before the block release date indicated below and mention: Laudermilch-Tobin to receive a guestroom at ~20% off of normal rates. After 3/12/26, the rooms that are not yet reserved will be released, so be sure to book before then if you plan to stay at the Reeds!

Stone Harbor Motels: - Stone Harbor Inn – Centrally located and walkable to everything in town. - Seaward Motel – Classic shore vibe, with a friendly, laid-back atmosphere. - Dunes Motel – Casual comfort just a few blocks from the beach and The Reeds. - Colonial Lodge – A favorite for returning visitors; clean, cozy, and close to town. - Stone Harbor and Avalon are walkable beach towns—once you’ve arrived, it’s easy to get around without needing a car! Most hotels, house rentals, restaurants, shops, and our wedding events are all within a short walking distance (5-15 blocks). - The Jersey Shore Jitney runs regularly between the two towns during the summer season, making it simple to hop between beach bars, dinner spots, and events. It runs evenings & weekends during peak season (typically Memorial Day through Labor Day). Cost: Usually $3–$5 per ride (cash or app). Stops along Dune Drive and 96th Street. It’s a great option for guests staying in Avalon or those wanting to explore the area without worrying about parking or driving.
