Answer

You should leave yourself enough time to park and ride the gondola up. THE LAST GONDOLA RIDE IS AT 4:45! If you are later than that, you will miss the ceremony.

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception both take place at the Red Tail Lodge at Mountain Creek, which is next door to the Appalachian Hotel. You will not need transportation between wedding events.

How do you get to the top of the mountain ?How do you get to the top of the mountain ?

Answer

The ceremony will be accessible by a short gondola ride. (3 minute trip to the top) The gondolas can accommodate groups of up to 6-8 guests standing. If you cannot stand for long periods of time, the staff can offer you a chair.

After the ceremony is over, guests will take the gondola back down the mountain, and take a short walk to the Red Tail Lodge. This is where cocktail our and the reception will be held.

Yes, the hotel is located right next store to the lodge. It would be a five minute walk back to your hotel room, if you book a room at the Appalachian hotel. Don’t forget the discount code. The hotel provides a heated pool, hot tub , and sauna, additionally, there are many fun activities to do in the area as well!

Unfortunately, there will be no after party. If you would like to continue your partying , the hotel bar Jack & Otto’s will be open until 2am. Buy the newlyweds a drink!

Unfortunately if it rains we will have to have the ceremony indoors, fingers crossed for a beautiful day!

If you are staying at the hotel on site you can park your car in the parking garage. There is additional parking for anyone in front of the Red tail lodge.

As much as we would like everyone to celebrate with us, we would like to maintain a smaller guest list. On your RSVP it will ask you if you are bringing a plus one, if we forgot to give you one please reach out to us.

Please understand that we love your little ones, but this will be an adult only celebrations. We will only be accommodating children in the wedding party. Thank you for understanding.
