Please join us in semi formal summer wedding attire. For the ladies, think pretty summer dresses- midi or maxi- or even nice dress pants and a blouse. For the gentleman, nice dress pants, or if you absolutely must, a very nice pair of jeans. Suit jackets/coats are not required. This may be on a ranch but our vibe is not western leaning so you probably won’t be seeing a cowboy hat or boot unless that’s your normal vibe. Both the ceremony and reception will be held on soft grass and soil— please choose shoes accordingly.
At 5:00 pm we’d expect it to be relatively toasty; you may want some SPF for this portion of the evening. The ranch is at about 8,000 ft in elevation and it will get chilly when the sun dips below the Sangre De Cristos so we’d recommend a sweater or wrap for later in the evening, you can leave this in the car for the ceremony and grab it for the reception. July rain in Westcliffe is not unheard but the show must go on- rain or shine we are getting hitched! The reception space will be under a tent and dancing will be under the stars.
The DeGree Ranch 785 Schoolfield Rd Westcliffe, CO 81252 The ceremony will be on the bluff overlooking the Wet Mountain Valley and the Sangre De Cristo mountains- we will have a turn off to park on HWY 69 on the west side of the road or a more convoluted route on the north side of Schoolfield Rd near the intersection of Schoolfield and 69– there will be signage! The reception will be in the valley off of Schoolfield Rd promptly after the ceremony. We will have signage and verbal directions.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. The reception will be outdoors but under a tent.
After the ceremony, the wedding party and families will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Please be alert for when you and family members may need to be photographed. Guests can head straight to the reception tent, where we will be serving snacks and beverages during a cocktail hour.
Ceremony is at 5:00 pm. Please try to be seated by 4:45pm. We would recommend arriving between 4:30-4:45 as we expect the ceremony navigation may be a bit tricky.
There will be signage for parking at both the ceremony and reception sites. Both will be a short walk to the wedding events. We will have a more walking accessible drop-off zone for the reception.
Yes, kiddos are welcome! All the kiddos who are invited should be on the RSVP with their parents. If you are hoping your kiddo can come and we magically forgot to attach them to you RSVP please reach out and we will amend that.
This is the tricky one. Westcliffe is a small town. There are a few hotels and AirBnbs in town but they are scarce. Westcliffe is about an hour for Canon City and Florence. That is where you’ll likely find accommodation. There are a lot of camp sites in the Sangre De Cristos for our camper folks!
All our guests with a plus one have that plus one attached to their name on the RSVP portion of this site. If you need a plus one and we didn’t grant you want please let either Nick or Samantha know. Additionally, if you do NOT need your plus one please make sure to click “Will not attend” for that plus one.

Pre-purchase your groceries before you hit your rental. Summer in Westcliffe can be busy and our small, mountain town grocery store can sometimes suffer to provide for the influx of visitors and what they do have will be at a premium. There are restaurants and a grocery store so if you don't do that, don't worry there will be food.
