Due to Peyton and I both catching Corona virus last week, we have unfortunately found ourselves in a position to make adjustments to the wedding. Although we plan to marry on October 3rd still, it will be reduced to immediate family and bridal party. This will ensure a more quiet and quaint setting for us as the side-effects from Covid have wore us out. It too will promote a more controlled and safe environment day of. We apologize and SO wish that we could follow through with the plans we had organized, but believe it best to make these changes. Wedding can be viewed on this website via Zoom. Gift registries can be found on Amazon and Target.Com, while cards among other things can be sent to 200 Amazon Drive, Columbia MO 65202. We love you each dearly and can't wait to celebrate with you through the cards and love you send our way. Lord willing, we will see you in person soon!
Back in 2016, Nick and Peyton both loved Jesus and happened to be adventurers who wanted to help on a church plant team. So...apart from each other knowing it...they both moved from I-A to M-O and did just that when Anthem Church began. They then lived in Columbia around one another but defined more as acquaintances than they were friends. Two long years later, Nick began to build projects at Peyton's house for her and her sister (Erika). The projects then turned to a growing friendship and confirmed interest on Nick's part as he asked her out 2 months later in a restaurant parking lot (Flatbranch). They then dated for 4 months, took 6 months off, and dated for 11 more. On September 4th, Nick bought a $10 upright piano to drop off on a parking garage for a September 5th engagement at sunset (right behind where Nick first asked her out). Nick played a song, got down on a knee, asked a question or two, and Peyton said yes. And here they are now, getting married just a short 20-some days later!
