How is COVID-19 affecting this event?

Answer

We have decided to postpone our celebration until August 20th, 2022. This is still a Saturday evening at the same location in Rosslyn Virginia (just outside of DC). We love all of you and do not wish to risk anyone's health. We feel like this postponement will make it safe to dance. Yes its safe to dance.

What is the recommended attire?

Answer

Penguin suits only. This does not mean tuxedos, but rather actual penguin costumes. Inflatable T-Rex costumes also encouraged. (Attire is summer wedding- please do not catch heat exhaustion.)

Is there a clear bag policy in effect?

Answer

No. Guests can bring their normal bags. Drink plenty of water since it will be hot in D.C.!

Answer

Infinitely.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, however both the ceremony and reception sites are located within walking distance from the recommended hotels and Rosslyn Metro station. We highly recommend walking, taking public transit, or ride-sharing to the reception. (Long live the oxford comma!)

I am not from DC. What is there to do in the city?

Answer

Two words: Zoo. Pandas. But really there are tons of fantastic things to do and see in the DC area. Please see things to do page for details!

What ages are allowed at this show?

Answer

Nicholas and Patricia kindly ask that only family members bring children for the event.

Is there a crowd surfing and moshing policy?

Answer

While Nicholas in particular loves these activities, the couple kindly requests that all guests dance without violence for the event. However the following will be highly recommended: - Spastic movements - Dance off requests - choreographed routines - dancing with people you haven't met before! - dancing like no one is watching - dancing with somebody

Is this an indoor event?

Answer

Partially. Reception will take place indoors with available patio. Event will take place rain or shine, Tickets are non-refundable.

Will there be a ceremony?

Answer

Nope, just the reception. We will provide a way to view the original ceremony at the reception, for those who want to see us get hit by torrential downpour!
