We're Getting Married

So, it was Nick's second day in Phoenix, having just moved in from San Francisco. I found myself stuck in this cringy double date situation, in need of an exit plan. Called up a buddy, and he mentioned he was grabbing drinks with his boss – a way better option than staying in the double-date. Meeting Nick at the bar, I got a bit nervous because, you know..... he's tall and good-looking. Turns out, Nick was feeling the nerves too, and somehow we ended up talking that night until 2 am. Next day we decided to hang out and we never really stopped hanging out after that. Just goes to show, sometimes the best things happen when you least expect it, like trying to escape a date turns into meeting the love of your life. Life's funny that way.

We were staying in Santorini when Nick woke me up from my nap to watch the sunset together. The orange and yellow colors were reflecting on the ocean. Nick opened a bottle of champagne, got on one knee, and he asked me to be his forever partner. We cried, smiled, and talk about our love and the future ahead of us.
