We survived our first solar eclipse…

I finally got to be part of the WAG game… for his adult men’s baseball league.

During the spring of 2024, Nick got a new job that asked him to relocate to Louisville. Scary at first, but it ended up being a great adventure. From the day we went looking for an apartment for him.

Just after Nick moved to Louisville we had the opportunity to serve together at CIY in Holland, MI.

Long distance, but still made a trip up to MI possible during a weekend seeing each other! Our first wedding together.

One of our favorite memories, seeing Dan + Shay at Ruoff in Noblesville. The best concert!

Nick made me feel so special on my birthday even though we were still at a distance. He set up a surprise pickleball match with our friends!

And we went for a surprise birthday dinner that evening.

More weekend dates. Even though we were about 2 hours from each other, we saw each other every. single. weekend. You know that they say, if he wanted to he would!

Pumpkin patch date fall 2024

Celebrating the end of his Aldi store phase! Busiest time and I was so proud of him for how he balanced everything.

Nicks 27th birthday, celebrated with a special dinner and a chocolate cake at his request!

Our first Thanksgiving together! Coincidentally, Nick was doing a rotation in Evansville so I actually came home from Indy to both him AND my family for the holiday!

Nick parents had recently moved to Tennessee, so this was our first visit to see their new home! Hiking, cozy movies, and Buccee’s were all a part of the trip!

The weekend before we got engaged, I thought I had him figured out! “Can I be honest?” “Yeah” “I thought you were going to propose on Monday” He said he hadn’t asked dad for his blessing…

One of my last days in Indy before moving home to Evansville. Baileigh took me for a drink to a new spot and little did I know…..

Nick was watching both of our locations, meticulously executing a plan…..

He dropped to a knee and asked me to marry him!

Best day ever!!! All glory to the Lord, we couldn’t have done any of it without his guidance and provision for both of us!

I said YES!!
