Just two broke college students working their way through school, we met in the garden center of Lowe's as cashier and seasonal garden associate. We passed the time chatting about hot peppers, cows, and the joys of working a retail job.

Jobs changed, people came and went, but our friendship only grew stronger. Two years flew by and in 2014 we went on our first "official" date, from there it was all just like a dream. We got a dog, we graduated college, moved states and started the next chapter.

He carried the ring with him for weeks, just waiting for the right moment. One sunny day in August was spent walking around Lake Cascade skipping rocks and finding treasure with the dog leading the way. This was it, it was real, it was perfect.
