We're Getting Married!

While we grew up 30 minutes apart and both attended Michigan State for Packaging, we didn't meet until we crossed paths at work in Chicago. One lunch with mutual co-workers quickly grew into a great friendship. A walk by Lake Michigan one day after work turned into multiple hours of talking, to a very easy flowing dinner, and to "this might be more than a friendship." Today, we refer to that dinner as our "accidental first date!"

Nick set up a whole "family photo shoot" event with the Pike family, set in a beautiful park in Naperville, IL that was special to us. Everyone was in on the surprise, including the photographer! When the Pikes "were running late" - the photographer asked us to go scope out some spots while we waited. Nick waited until we were in front of a beautiful bridge to pop the question and the session turned into an engagement photo shoot!
