Maid of Honor
Soleil wasn't bitter when I was born exactly a year after her and stole her birthday, or followed her to college and copied her major. Instead she lovingly guided and protected me through life. She's dealt with my ups and downs the most and has truly been my life-long rock.
Best Man
I met Jason in middle school. He already had a goatee, drove a '68 Camaro SS, and had a girlfriend. Needless to say, he was pretty cool. From that point, I knew Jason would be a fun person to be around. He has a heart of pure gold, he's my confidant, and my accountant.
Maid of Honor
The youngest of the sisters, Chloe has always been there to help me laugh at life's difficult situations. Always sincere and practical in her guidance, Chloe never complicates anything. She is the silly one who is always ready to throw an elaborate themed party or make one of the most impressive costumes you've ever seen.
Groomsman
Lance is my big bro. He tormented me as a kid (read: stuff me into a toy box and sit on it, so I couldn't escape), but he also introduced me to some of my favorite pastimes: hip hop and basketball. Growing up he would let me play basketball with all his friends. They thought it was hilarious to post me up and swat every shot I tried to take. Then I grew up and balled all those fools up.
Mother of the Bride
This wedding would not be possible without my mom, who is our proxy in Lima as details are sorted. I would be nowhere without her. Literally and figuratively. Through example, Yola aka Yolita aka Yolster taught me to be a strong and independent woman. To pursue my dreams and most importantly never take no for an answer. But one of the best pieces of advice she gave me was that to find the man of my dreams I must write down exactly what I'm looking for and he will come. And it worked. I hope to one day be as cool as my mom.
Groomsman
Sam aka Big Wednesday is a real special friend of mine. I met Sam for the first time when he came to visit my roommate, Andrew Bertolina, in San Francisco about 8 years ago. We ended up having such a good time that weekend that we convinced Sam (and his then girlfriend Judy) to move in with us. Sam is a renaissance man that actually doesn't belong in the 21st century. You can find Sam enjoying a freshly rolled pinner under a Parisian night sky, pulling into mellow peelers off the coast of Uruguay, or sometimes dozing off with a book in hand in fields of gold.
Bridesmaid
There is never a dull moment with Janster, the cool girl from Dubai who quickly becomes the life of any party. We were hall mates at the dorm and immediately bonded over reggaeton and being brown. Jannat and I have the unique ability to giggle hysterically about nothing yet still be very serious and studious when we needed to be.
Groomsman
I've known Anthony, my style and fashion guru, since we were kids. We were inseparable in high school, mobbin' around Agoura Hills bumping our latest hip hop mix and slanging bagel sandwiches on the weekends.
Bridesmaid
Cynthia was one of the first people I met at USC. I heard her talking in Spanish and befriending the entire hall. Instantly I knew I wanted to be her friend. And my gut was right; Cynthia was so friendly, and already knew guys in frats. And then the adventures began. Cynthia is the type of person who convinces you to do something and all of a sudden you end up in a recording room for a dating game podcast, or dressing up like a Disney princess for a 5 year old birthday party. You never know where you'll end up with Cynthia and she keeps things fun.

I met Andrew in college. He lived across the hall from me. I remember he had a super euro ear piercing and wore fine European coats. He was on the tennis team and had just got back from a stint in Germany where he'd been practicing. Hanging with Andrew was always a fun time because you never knew where the night was going to take you. Even though he's heads down nowadays working on his business, you can still catch a glimpse of that euro soul every now and again.
Bridesmaid
Where most people would hate to work late nights and weekends, we realized it wasn't so bad if we were together. We were paired up to work on Starbucks and quickly became inseparable. We can have deep conversations about humanity and ethics, but just as easily enjoy a beer (or five) mid-week to laugh at silly things when we're having a rough day.
Groomsman
I'm not exactly sure where I'd be without Dave. Senior year of high school I had no plans of going to college, but Dave wasn't having it. He whipped me into shape by getting me to take night classes at the local community college, and essentially, designed a program for me to follow to transfer to a 4-year university. Dave is a beautiful soul inside and out...he also has great hair.

After having worked with Kirsten for two years, I knew I had to follow her when she left Edelman. Kirsten is a badass at work but also IRL. She lights up any room with her smile and wit and is a blast to be around. We both love to host and entertain, and live walking distance to one another, it was obvious our friendship would flourish.
Groomsman
Jeremy and I have known each other since elementary school and even ended up going to college together at the University of San Francisco. We studied and traveled together all over Europe, we worked together at a start up in San Francisco, he even crashed my first trip to Peru with Kassandra. He's like a brother to me.
Bridesmaid
Also part of the USC gang, Sara and I bonded during student government. I thought we were both over-achievers until I realized Sara was also double majoring in Engineering and IR, doing a masters in dentistry, while learning Portuguese and Danish, while already knowing Farsi, Spanish and English! All this, while still being one of the most fun people I know.
Groomsman
Brett and I have known each other since elementary school. They used to call Brett, 'monkey', because you could always find him at the monkey bars during recess. We stayed close all the way through graduation and B even moved in with us in San Francisco where we learned he: only eats cold food, only drinks instant coffee, sleeps very little and loves his iPad.
Bridesmaid
I ask myself what would Judy do, every-time I'm facing a moral dilemma. Judy exemplifies a good human being. Nick and I lived with her and her husband Sam, and they inspired us to be a better couple and better people all around. To top it off, fashionista Judy inspires me to stay on trend and is always down for a good time.
Bridesmaid
When we first met back in 8th grade we hated each other. But our fate couldn't escape us. We were in the same classes and extra-curriculars. And after Ali became head of the culture council and I of the service council, we realized our fate was unescapable. Since then, we've visited each other at every stage in life, keeping up our undeniably incredible friendship.
