We're Getting Married!

After weeks upon weeks of hanging out, Kal couldn’t take it anymore. So she decided to shoot her shot on April 1st to see how Nick would react. She said that every time he would walk into a room she would get distracted and have butterflies. So what better way then to start a potential relationship then on April Fools? Because if he said no, it was always a joke right ;)? Sitting at lunch, Kal asked, “when are we going on a date?”As you could imagine Nick was just as surprised, and just to be sure he replied, “Are you being serious?”. To that she was yes, she being very serious. April 26th they would go on their first official dinner date at Brix. Which would then be followed by more dates and more days spending all their time together until they left for the summer! What could happen in the last three weeks of school anyway? After summer & with the year progressing, and their adoration for each other, “I love yous” began to roll with ease.

For starters, Kal still isn’t too sure if she should be impressed or concerned with her friends ability to all lie to her so well. Yet despite that, this was the best thing to pull off. The date was set, and the plan was formulated. November 12. In Sedona. Has to wear a dress because they were celebrating Nicks dad’s birthday with dinner. Or so she thought. Eventually after rock crawling in the Jeep, and admiring the view. Nick suggested they go for a walk, which Kal reluctantly wanted to participate in because she was cold. Maybe it was Nicks charm and good looks, but she was persuaded to go on this “walk”. 10 steps away from the car with the view conveniently in place, Nick turns around towards her. With his “Kalista Marie” and her hands in his, her mind began to catch up to the moment. And that was the easiest “Yes” she’s ever said. The couple is excited to celebrate with you on May 20th!
