The first time we officially met was during summer break of 2021 at our ROTC summer camp (nerdy, right)? Admittedly, we only had two conversations with each other during this summer camp, but we were able to put a name to face. Later that year in August, one of Jillian's friends posted a picture of them together for Jillian's birthday. Nick asked for Jillian's information to get in contact with her, and proceeded to Snapchat her and talk about their time at Leadership Academy and ROTC in general. A few weeks and a sushi date at Nama later, we started dating. The past four and a half years have been spent attending the University of Tennessee, watching the Bucs and Lions play on Sundays after church, hundreds of visits to our favorite Mexican restaurant Monterey's, and thousands of hours spent reviewing and editing each other's history and political science papers. We are so blessed that God has brought us together and we are so excited to begin our marriage by celebrating with all our loved ones!
