Chimney Rock

Chimney Rock is a great, easy day trip with awesome views, solid hiking, and the iconic rock overlooking Hickory Nut Gorge. The small town right below it has a laid-back feel with local shops, cafés, and spots along the river that are nice to walk through and hang out for a bit. It’s a good mix of getting outside and just enjoying the area. The community is still bouncing back from Hurricane Helene, so visiting is also a simple way to support local businesses and help them rebuild.
