Answer

Loveland is about 30-45min away from Estes Park. Alot of canyon driving with alot of turns. Please drink plenty of water and food. Altitude sickness is a thing and these will help prevent you from getting sick and feeling awful.

The host hotel (The Ridgeline) is one of the best places to stay during wedding events and for a great discount

What is altitude sickness?

Answer

Altitude sickness is where you go from sea level or low level heights to 5280 (mile high heights) to fast. Your body can't make the change fast enough to acclimate. staying hydrated and plenty of food helps alot. The air is thinner, your closer to the sun, and your blood can't produce enough blood cells for your body.

How much time should I plan if I'm traveling through DIA?

Answer

Plan for atleast 2 hours to get through TSA, and the gates. Denver is an international airport and can get busy very fast.

Why Estes Park for the wedding?

Answer

Estes is very close to Jeff and I, and we frequent the tourist town quite a bit to get away, have a nice dinner, hike, or just take in the scenery. We want to share our place with our friends and family.

What will the weather be like in June?

Answer

The weather in June can change very fast un Colorado. Usually there are storms that hit in the afternoon. Being at a higher elevation like Estes Park you are closer to the sun and can sunburn easier, but it is generally 10 degrees colder than on the front range or in Denver.

Will there be gluten free options at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! we have alot of guests that have gluten tolerance so we have managed the food to cater to everyone equally.

Will the ceremony be live streamed?

Answer

Yes! we will have the live stream set up for the ceremony to make sure that anyone who wasn't able to travel or could not make it will be able to see the ceremony.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

yes, but we ask that you give notice about any additional guests being brought and that you notify us sooner than later. Please feel free to message Nick or Jeff about additions. They need to be aporive before the list of guests are to be finalized.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! There are about a dozen children attending the event.

What will parking be like?

Answer

The hotel is planned very well with numerous places of access. There is a parking lot located on the west side of the courtyard with the easiest access for guests not staying at the hotel. When you enter the hotel premises, go around the entire hotel on a side road located on the left side and it will direct you to the back parking lot. Guests who are staying there, there is easy access to the courtyard from inside the building.
