Due to COVID-19 and the restrictions on gathering sizes put in place by the Illinois State Health Department, we have had to reduce our guest list by over half. It was painful for us to remove some of our loved ones from the guest list, but we hope you understand why it had to be done. We mailed out invitations and letters informing those who can no longer attend in early June, so let us know if you did not receive a letter or are confused as to whether or not you are still invited. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us have a safe, legal wedding.
You should check with your hotel and airline to ensure that your reservation has not been canceled or changed due to COVID-19. If you plan on driving to the wedding, keep in mind that gas stations and rest stops in the Illinois area may require customers to wear facemasks indoors.
To an extent, we're still not sure. We'll know more as the date draws closer. You should, however, prepare for social distancing during the event. We will provide ample hand sanitizer and some facemasks for your use. We love and value all of our guests, and we don't want anyone to become ill at our wedding.
