From the time that we met there was an instant connection, and what began as a small spark quickly became something truly special. Just a week after our first kiss, we were off on an adventure to Puerto Rico together — the first of many trips that would shape our relationship. When we left we both said “this is just two friends going on a little getaway” but we knew we were lying to ourselves. Somewhere between the laughter, sunsets, and spontaneous plans, we realized this was different and that we were in fact not “just friends”. The days passed by quickly, and within a couple of months, we were building a life together, surrounded by so much love, endless laughter, and more Lego than any one person knows what to do with. Those months turned into happy, fun filled years and we both knew that this was something we wanted to hold onto forever. On October 1st, 2025, in the beauty of Glacier Bay, Alaska — surrounded by breathtaking views, icy blue water, and an adorable group of otters — Nick got down on one knee, and I said yes. (Actually, I said “Are you serious?” but the “yes” quickly followed suit). Now, we look forward to our biggest adventure yet, one that we know will be full of love, happiness and joy.
