and so the adventure begins

Back in October of 2022, Hanna and Nick went on their first date after weeks of texting. Hanna remembered saying she knew Nick was a keeper because he "knew what a Swiftie was". What was supposed to be a quick lunch date turned into grabbing coffee and talking for over 3.5 hours. Everything just felt easy. While they still texted each other after that, their lives got busy and Hanna and Nick did not see each other again (minus 1 or 2 dates) until May of 2023, after Nick graduated from the University of Cincinnati. After one eventful date at the Cincinnati Zoo on May 11, 2023, Nick and Hanna have been pretty much inseparably ever since. By the time they meet each other's families, it already felt like Nick and Hanna were home. Through Hanna's senior year of college, Nick moving back to Wooster and then back to Cincinnati for work, a couple trips to visit each other's families, and many bouts of sickness later, their relationship only grew stronger with every moment they shared. For their 2nd anniversary, Nick had this whole elaborate plan to propose to Hanna while they were at the Cincinnati Zoo with Hanna's family. Nick thought it would be perfect because it’s where they had their date 2 years prior. However, he didn't account for the zoo being overcrowded. Or Hanna getting suspicious when he would ask to go somewhere for a picture, considering they only have two pictures together in their two years of dating. Nevertheless, Nick ended up proposing the next day while they were on their anniversary trip to Columbus, OH. While at the Columbus Park of Roses during sunset, Nick got down on one knee and asked Hanna to marry him. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with all of you! Our wedding day isn't just about us but it's about all our friends and family that have been with us every step of the way. Thank you for being a part of our journey. And so the adventure begins....
