When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We invite you to RSVP online [link to come!] for both the welcome reception and the wedding celebration party.

What's the dress code for your wedding events?

Answer

Attire for the welcome reception is casual. Come as you are and enjoy a drink and some appetizers with us to kick off the weekend. Attire for the wedding is also casual. Wear something you're comfortable and feel celebratory in! Nicholas and Hal will be wearing fun semi-formal clothes, so you're free to dress up or wear something more relaxed. If you want more guidance, feel free to call or text Nicholas at 301/514-8882.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at a local hotel?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at the SpringHill Suites in Frederick and it's available to book through May 23, 2025. A link is available via the Travel tab of this site. You may also want to check Airbnb or Vrbo for available rentals.

Is there parking available near your event venues?

Answer

For the welcome reception, there's plenty of free parking at the venue and nearby. See the Travel tab on this site to view a map. For the wedding celebration party, the easiest place to park is in the East All Saints Parking Garage at 125 E. All Saints Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Metered street parking should also be available nearby.

What are the addresses of the welcome reception and wedding party venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The welcome reception will be held at Attaboy Barrel House, 24 S Wisner Street, Suite 110, Frederick, MD 21701. The wedding celebration party will be held at The Delaplaine Arts Center, 40 S Carroll Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Both sites are wheelchair accessible.

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venues?

Answer

The easiest way to get to the venues will be to drive or take an Uber or Lyft.

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

Frederick is located about 1 hour from three airports: BWI in Baltimore, Dulles in Northern Virginia, and Reagan National in DC. BWI is probably the most convenient option. The other two are also good, although traffic in the DC area can be dicey. Feel free to reach out to Colleen, Tim, or Nicholas with any questions.

Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Answer

Your invitation will let you know if you're invited with a guest. If your invitation didn't include a guest and you'd like to bring one, please reach out to Nicholas at 301/514-8882. Space is limited, but we'd be happy to accommodate your request if we can.

What type of food will be served at your events?

Answer

The welcome reception will include a variety of hors d'oeuvres, including vegan options. At the wedding celebration party, we'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. There will be chicken and vegetarian entree options available. The vegetarian option is also vegan and gluten- and dairy-free.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

At the welcome reception, there will be an open bar with liquor, beer, cider, seltzer, and wine. At the wedding party, there will be an open bar serving beer and wine for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

Do you have wedding registry? Where can I find it?

Answer

Your presence (in person or in spirit) is the greatest gift we could ask for. If you would like to honor us with a gift, our wedding registry is part of this website -- just click on the "registry" tab. We will have a wedding card box at our reception.

What is the itinerary for the weekend?

Answer

The welcome reception will take place at Attaboy Barrel House on Friday, June 27 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Our wedding celebration will take place at The Delaplaine Arts Center on Saturday, June 28, with cocktails starting at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner and dancing, which is expected to end by 11:00 pm. More information is under the Schedule tab on this website.

Will there be other events to attend on the celebration weekend?

Answer

All of our guests are invited to join us for a welcome reception at Attaboy Barrel House on Friday, June 27. We invite our out-of-town guests to gather for bagels and coffee on Sunday, June 29, from 9 - noon at Colleen and Tim's house: 2025 William Franklin Drive, Frederick, MD 21702.

Can I post photos from the welcome party or wedding celebration on social media?

Answer

Yes, feel free. We may ask for you to upload any photos you take to an online album, so we can treasure the memories -- stay tuned for more information about that.
