We're getting married!

Our story began at KU in the town of Lawrence, Kansas! We met at a bar called Bullwinkles during our sophomore year through mutual friends and were drawn to one another the moment we met. Our story began as friends, as we built a strong foundation of getting to know each other over the next couple of years and hung out in the same social circle. After a trip to Cancun, Mexico (the most romantic of places), and the very end of our senior years (great timing!), we decided to pursue something more than friends, despite not knowing where either of us would end up. After graduating, Nick pursued an off grid position at a ranch in northern Colorado, while Grace spent her summer in the city of Chicago (as many said, truly the plot of a Hallmark movie!) After visiting each other in the drastically different environments, the distance made our hearts grow even fonder, and we both moved to Denver later that fall of 2021. We have been in Denver ever since, and have navigated the world of young adulthood with full hearts, empty wallets and an amazing group of family & friends. We couldn't be happier! A few years into establishing a life in the city, Nick began to plan a weekend around popping the big question, complete with bringing Grace up to one of our favorite mountain towns (Buena Vista), organizing & flying many family members in, as well as arranging our best friends (personal photographers) to secretly capture the whole thing. In true Grace fashion, Grace came down with the flu in the week leading up to the proposal that almost derailed the entire plan (anddd Nick lost a few years off of his life convincing her to still journey up to the mountains). However, all still accordingly to plan, and the rest is history! Now looking ahead after a year of wedding planning, we absolutely cannot wait to start the next chapter of our life together and celebrate with all of the wonderful people who have been part of our love story & lives. 🤍
