This was one of Nicholas's favorite spots growing up. It is primarily a shopping center filled with boutique restaurants and shops but was modeled after Seville, Spain. Not exactly something you'd expect when coming to Kansas City.
If you're looking for a neighborhood to go out in for the night, you'd go to Westport. Since Kansas City is spread out, they needed a place where you can walk from different bars and restaurants without having to drive. It has a village aesthetic with cobblestone streets, gas lights, and plenty to indulge in.
Kansas City is legendary for it's iconic Jazz-scene, the Green Lady is iconic in Kansas City, therefore the Green Lady Lounge is a must-must-must visit for any jazz-lover. It maintains it's speakeasy vibe with hanging chandeliers, velvet couches, and dim lighting; some nights you may even need a password to enter.
Worlds of Fun is our Six Flags, but it is one of the last privately owned amusement parks in the US. It has rides that you can't find anywhere else, and has an adjacent water park that is just as, dare I say it...fun! Tickets are $35 for the day.
