We met through a mutual friend who worked with Nick after he moved from Maine to New York. At the time, I was 25 and Nick was 24, and we went on our first date without me having even seen a picture of him — truly walking in blind. Luckily, it worked out. That I was hot… and that he was very confused about why I was wearing a mask (it was COVID times, after all). We officially started dating on March 21, 2021. Earlier that year, a psychic had told me I would meet the man I’d marry in 2021 — and somehow, she was right. One of our most “meant to be” moments came in November 2021 when I was in a car accident. Because of COVID restrictions, Nick wasn’t allowed inside the hospital, but he left work and waited outside for hours until I was able to go home. That’s when I knew I had found someone truly special.
